The North West Regional Assembly is a partnership that works
to promote the economic, environmental and social well-being of the North
West of England.
It is an inclusive organisation, with representation from local
government, business organisations, public sector agencies, education and
training bodies, trade unions and co-operatives together with the voluntary
and community sector.
Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside
make up the North West of England. More than 6.7m people live in the region.
The North West Regional Assembly seeks to represent the rich diversity of
the region and is working to improve the quality of life of all its citizens.
